Watching the rain fall
each raindrop slowly follows us
outlining our reflection
The path of each drop caressing me
you holding my waist gently guiding me
taking me back to where you had me
taking me back to our bed.
You laid me down in a bed of need
closed my eyes
and allowed me to see through your touch
and my feelings
You craved me
so I gave myself to you.
The rain picks up and so did we
breathing
thumping
dripping
wet
Rain
We stop to admire
I the rain
You me
I wonder what the rain can see?
If each drop has a small window of time where they live their full life before they’re absorbed by the earth again,
like us?
you entertained me and smiled
softly whispered
Probably
That night a storm brewed
the wind picked up
the rain fell harder
you held me tight
my need for you now matching yours
I love you.
